I moved to Knoxville from Chattanooga to attend the University of Tennessee. My business career began while still a student as a full-time intern for a sports management firm that represented NFL athletes. After graduating in 2002, I continued to identify and recruit potential NFL clients as Director of Player Development for the same company.

Following my time at the sports management firm, I became a sales consultant for Unishippers, a leading third-party logistics firm in the United States. I was the top sales representative in my training class, and I enjoyed a successful career with the Knoxville franchise. While growing my territory for Unishippers Knoxville, I also started a real estate investment firm called Deacon Investments with a friend. Through this venture I learned a lot about the selection, acquisition and management of many different properties in the Knoxville area. I sold my interest in Deacon Investments in 2012.

While still operating Deacon Investments, a Unishippers franchise in Atlanta became available in June of 2009. I purchased the franchise and in less than seven years increased its annual revenues from $500,000 to $1,650,000. As a franchise owner at Unishippers, I served on the technology advisory council for corporate and hosted new franchises for their required internships. I was fortunate to sell the franchise in January 2016.

After selling my Unishippers Franchise, the decision of what to do next was the easiest decision I’ve made in my career. Immediately , I began the process of becoming a licensed real estate professional so that I could do what I am most passionate about. I absolutely love dealing with all aspects real estate—buying it, selling it, flipping it, and investing in it. My favorite thing to do is to help buyers with through process of finding their desired property. It is my job to help you get the property at the lowest possible cost, while making it a smooth process to the closing table. Through my real estate and sales experience I confidently negotiate the best deal possible for you, while helping you to enjoy the entire experience.

Outside of work, I live in the Hardin Valley community of Knoxville with my wife, 3 year old daughter and our 3 horses. I serve as the Moderator of the Core Minsitry Team for our church “The Table” in the West Haven area. I also enjoy spending time with our group of friends, horseback riding, golfing, boating, and all University of Tennessee Athletics.
